petitepedal ★ Posted September 28, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 28, 2014 Tea Source is voting on "favorite tea" so I got some Dark Rose at 50% off...and I picked up Fireside Spice a nice apple/nutty spicey flavored black tea. Because I voted...I aso got a $5 coupon for tea to purchase in October...Yum. I brought some tea with me on my trip east.

Earl Grey is nice in the winter, but summer demands different teas. So does winter, now that I think about it. I like to have about half a dozen teas in the house at any one time. I always have Earl Grey, though.

Road Runner Posted September 28, 2014 Share #7 Posted September 28, 2014 I do not drink coffee..... Why not? I drink both. When my acid reflux is under control, I prefer coffee. Worse for me, but I enjoy the strong flavor of coffee more.

Ralphie ★ Posted September 28, 2014 Share #12 Posted September 28, 2014 Yeah, and without all the acid. I have noticed a large variation in the acidity of coffees. Tea might have some good stuff in it, but it is too darn wimpy!
Kirby Posted September 28, 2014 Share #13 Posted September 28, 2014 I love the fall teas, although I'm not too fond of spices/cloves so I'm not sure the Fireside Spice is for me. But their Moonlight over Madagascar is one of my absolute faves.
Longjohn ★ Posted September 29, 2014 Share #14 Posted September 29, 2014 Earl Grey is alright if you like the taste of bergamot in your tea. The folks that like it love it, the people that don't like it hate it. I wasn't sure how to spell bergamot and when I googled it I got off on a Bergamot/Earl Grey bunny trail. That stuff is supposed to improve your cholesterol as good as statins. I think I'm going to add that to one of the healthy things I try to eat/drink.
