I always keep a tin of Old Bay on my spice rack, though we like J.O. #1 or J.O. #2 better on steamed crabs.

If I steam shrimp, I wait until they're hot and in a bowl and sprinkle Old Bay on them.

I also often add a little to tuna salad.

It is even popular in Texas where it has to compete with Zatarains.
