Road Runner Posted December 30, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 30, 2013 When I post something that I think is funny, I laugh at it, just as if someone else had written it. I think I am losing it. Not that I ever had it to begin with.
kingtermite Posted December 30, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 30, 2013 Really? That's amazing. You posted something funny? When? Apparently I missed it.

Road Runner Posted December 30, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted December 30, 2013 Really? That's amazing. You posted something funny? When? Apparently I missed it. I didn't say it was funny. I said when I posted something that I THOUGHT was funny.
jsharr ★ Posted December 30, 2013 Share #5 Posted December 30, 2013 If I laughed every time I posted something funny my incessant laughter would eventually become tiring. SW, not so much.
kingtermite Posted December 30, 2013 Share #6 Posted December 30, 2013 I didn't say it was funny. I said when I posted something that I THOUGHT was funny. Thank god for the clarification. I actually thought that you thought you posted something funny (to others) for a second.
Road Runner Posted December 30, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted December 30, 2013 Thank god for the clarification. I actually thought that you thought you posted something funny (to others) for a second. It was not a clarification, it was me reading the original post to you. BTW, KT, on a serious note, how did the ear surgery work out for you? kingtermite Posted December 30, 2013 Share #9 Posted December 30, 2013 BTW, KT, on a serious note, how did the ear surgery work out for you? Seems better. A little muffled sounding at times, but definitely better hearing. Still, as expected, it is not enough to not still need hearing aids, but maybe I can hear traffic better when riding on the street (like when I commute to work). I go Thursday for 2nd checkup and hopefully removed from the ridiculous restrictions. Kinda funny that my wife's surgery (hernia) had her limited to lifting no more than 20 lbs. After mine, I was given a limit of 10 lbs. Which REALLY REALLY sucks....but the few times I went over by necessity or accident, I definitely "could" feel it. You don't realize the pressure a little bit of weight puts in your ears until you are really paying attention. Anyway...overall, things are good for both wife and I post-surgery. Thanks for asking.
The_Karen_Cooper_Incident Posted December 30, 2013 Share #10 Posted December 30, 2013 Nope. And to be honest, I really don't know when I truly laughed last. I fake it alot. Couch
Square Wheels Posted December 30, 2013 Share #11 Posted December 30, 2013 That's a slippery slope Couch, but you already know that. Been there, done that, and still do that.
The_Karen_Cooper_Incident Posted December 30, 2013 Share #12 Posted December 30, 2013 That's a slippery slope Couch, but you already know that. Been there, done that, and still do that. I've slipped down the slop, my friend. While I have good moments, I just don't laugh like I used to. I still have fun though. I went bowling the other day. I haven't done that in years. Square Wheels Posted December 30, 2013 Share #13 Posted December 30, 2013 I almost never laugh. I found I was doing it to make other people think I was happy. That made me more unhappy. Now I only laugh when I really feel like it, and that's not much. Even so, I find I am happier now that I work at being happy.
The_Karen_Cooper_Incident Posted December 30, 2013 Share #14 Posted December 30, 2013 I almost never laugh. I found I was doing it to make other people think I was happy. That made me more unhappy. Now I only laugh when I really feel like it, and that's not much. Even so, I find I am happier now that I work at being happy. I never knew 'being happy', was hard work. Seriously. Last week, I was happy; I was with loved ones. Now that I'm back at work and stuck in my boring everyday cycle of life. I'm finding it hard to set my mood right. Randomguy Posted December 30, 2013 Share #18 Posted December 30, 2013 I often laugh when I think about making a joke. Then I ask myself if that thought about making a joke was funny, then I send the thought to the writers. who work it into something acceptable, then they add a laugh track and post it here, where I get the credit for it.
