Randomguy Posted January 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2017 I have had a sore throat, packed sinuses, swollen glands, and lethargy for two weeks now. I bought a beer, thinking it might help. Am I correct in thinking this?
Further Posted January 5, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2017 One beer is not going to help. And, as much as I love beer, I know it is not good for me.
maddmaxx ★ Posted January 5, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2017 They don't put penicillin in beer.

BuffJim Posted January 6, 2017 Share #6 Posted January 6, 2017 Of course its healthful. It provides a nice round full stomach. Not one of those flat icky ones, where the person is so emaciated that you can see their abdomen muscles, ironically known as a six pack.

I think we're on to something. Market beer as medicine. We can add supplements, just enough to make our marketing claims truthful but low enough to avoid esky FDA scrutiny. Besides, big gubmint is going away. Opportunity is knocking boys!
Johnny Come Lately Name Posted January 6, 2017 Share #9 Posted January 6, 2017 It's healthy for me to drink beer. Not for me, but for those around me.
Forum Administrator Posted January 6, 2017 Share #10 Posted January 6, 2017 Good news: There is a chemical in hops that helps to fight colds. Bad news: You would have to drink about a case of beer to ingest enough of the chemical to make a difference.

Road Runner Posted January 6, 2017 Share #12 Posted January 6, 2017 Nothing is healthful. Every minute you spend eating crap and drinking crap and doing crap, is one minute closer you are to old age infirmaries and death.
