AirwickWithCheese Posted December 1, 2017 Share #3 Posted December 1, 2017 At work Wilbur, can't see video. He was very talented but very human. Modern day Hank Williams. What happened?
Further Posted December 1, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 1, 2017 I fear a stroke more than any other health issue. It turns your life upside down, right now. If you survive you are changed forever.

Still no talking. Very sad and yes, he was human.
Zephyr Posted December 1, 2017 Share #6 Posted December 1, 2017 I use to sing 'digging up bones' every day walking into my physical archeology class in University. I met the Prof at a historic homicide 15 years later when she was helping us Identify some skeletal remains, and she started laughing and she remembered me!
Rattlecan ★ Posted December 1, 2017 Share #7 Posted December 1, 2017 For several years in the 90s, I was on a regular double team west coast run. My co-driver and I were nearly the same age. About a year after that run ended, he had a stroke at age 48. It was a fairly mild one, and he has pretty much recovered. Apart from speaking a bit slower than he used to, you'd never know. Still can't help but think what would have happened if he had been behind the wheel when the stroke hit, coming off a mountain pass with me sleeping in the back.

Green Grass Posted December 1, 2017 Share #9 Posted December 1, 2017 I knew the name, but not really anything about him. Watched the video. He looked completely vacant until he smiled...then looked normal. Sad deal, for sure.
