Popular Post Kirby Posted November 19, 2019 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 19, 2019 I have two empanadas - one chicken and one beef. They're in the same package and I don't know which is which. I'm going to heat up one for dinner and I have no idea which one I'm going to get. This is very exciting and a little unnerving. I feel a bit like my wild sister!!! 2 2 3
Kirby Posted November 19, 2019 Author Share #2 Posted November 19, 2019 As if that wasn't exciting enough, the empanadas are one day past their "sell by" date so there is an air of danger to the meal! 1 1 1

maddmaxx ★ Posted November 19, 2019 Share #4 Posted November 19, 2019 My solution would be to eat both. That way you don't have to worry about which flavor is better and you don't need to keep the leftover one too long. 1
Further Posted November 19, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 19, 2019 I have been buying a sack full of Taco Bell stuff, take it home & dump it on the table. We (missus & me) eat it up, like it all, some more than other, but have no idea what is what. But I have a feeling that all the medical testing I've been undergoing is going to change my diet ? 1 1

The only thing they changed on my diet is they eliminated salt. I have to take my blood pressure three times a day and journal it until December 20th. I’m three weeks in and my blood pressure has been anywhere from high normal in the morning to very low normal in the afternoon and evening. I. Not supposed to eat pickles or pickled hot peppers (oh crap, I forgot to bring Ralph a bunch of hot peppers when we got together a week ago ). Yes, diet change is what I fear may be coming. It was a good run of 73 years of eating what I wanted though,.
MoseySusan Posted November 19, 2019 Share #9 Posted November 19, 2019 Updates? And did you have wine with your empanada?

It turns out I had the beef, with sesame noodles and coleslaw. Served with a lovely glass of seltzer. I'm still alive and well today, so the one day past "sell by" didn't do significant damage.

Kirby Posted November 20, 2019 Author Share #12 Posted November 20, 2019 No, I'm having some macaroni and cheese which is a mere 4 days beyond its "sell by" date!
