  1. We do it weekly, basically. Three of my four children live locally, and there are two grand kids to visit there. Plus I bring my mom. It's nice. It makes me quite happy that my grown children get along and enjoy one another's company.
  2. Last Tuesday. Family dinner night at my daughter's house.
  3. My firstnamelastname@gmail.com is a unique combination of names and so was available to me when I made an ISP change a few years ago. I had four email addresses with my previous ISP which I changed out to gmail addresses when I moved. Two of the others had to have numbers appended to them for me to get (almost) the same thing on gmail. The other one is a misspelling of a word that has significance to me. Oh, and I also still have a hotmail email address. That one gets the marketing spam emails. Agree with the majority consensus. Use some combination of your name, perhaps with numbers appended, for an email address going to potential employers.
  4. Sorry for your loss, Further. Prayers for you and for the sons. Losing both parents so close to one another is hard.

  6. Took my tree down today as well. Haven't got all the lights put away yet, though.
  7. I can't believe I watched the whole thing.
  8. Wow. Clearly no sense, and no sense of personal space. Sorry you were a victim of that stupidity, ChrisL.
  9. Prayers and virtual hugs, Zealot. Rest and get well as best you can.
  10. So sad. You all have said it much better than I could. Cheese will be sorely missed.
  11. So sorry to hear about Ryan. Prayers and virtual hugs to you and Einstein.
  12. What a wonderful song and a wonderful tribute. Happy Anniversary.
  13. I would concur with this, gravelrunner = Fred Nash.
  14. I may or may not have discovered that there are a bunch of those videos.
  15. I bought some for a similar reason, but more recently than @Longjohn. My mother (90years old) has had some Cutco knives for as long as I can remember. One thing about them, they have lifetime guarantees. You can send them to Cutco to sharpen, or to repair if needed.
  16. In the US, cilantro is the name for the plant's leaves and stem, while coriander is the name for its dried seeds. Elsewhere they call it coriander for leaves and stems and coriander seeds for the... seeds.
  17. Someone is doing a study with some currently known medicines to see if they work on SARS-CoV-19 patients. There are various other common medicines that possibly could be tried as well. The reason for using common medicines is that side effects are already known. Don't try this at home.
  18. Denali on the first go through, Olympic on the second.
  19. And you were correct! We are still not tired of being sexy.
