My brothers and their wives are bringing Mom to our house today. Turkey is in the oven and preparations are under way. I am sure she will be delighted with her gift as well. Mrs Rattlecan put together a book of photos centring around the home she has lived for 72 years and where she and Dad raised the three of us. The house was a work in progress from beginning to end and so many memories are tied up in the place. That's like our normal Christmas dinner! One table isn't enough for a family gathering, so you gotta push a few together and it spans from the dining room into the living room (at our SiLs). And chairs need to be rounded up as well.
