Nice, looks new, or renovated

It's a generic photo from their website. I couldn't actually see the apartment.

Nice overhead view.  Sort'a like looking down through the moonroof into a Gremlin.

Congratulations! Very relieved for you. I find the more space you have, the more junk you get to fill it. The apartment may not be big but it's  really a nice one bedroom, and generous by a lot of NYC standards

Because my rent doubled or my neighbor's house is no long covered in beer labels? I'll take either.

That you are going skiing and that you got laid.  Well screwed.  I mean fucked by the rent.

Glad this housing crisis has ended. Will it reoccur next year, or will you be good until your next large raise?

I think I will have a one year lease. I have not seen it yet. None of this really works in my favor, but they have you over a barrel so you just bend over and say thank you sir may I have another. This apartment is workforce/free market. I only have to prove employment annually. There are no income restrictions but they can raise my rent. The rent goes up each year and is double what it was when I lived here in 2019.

Well, the bright side is that your one-bedroom (that is certainly what they would call it here) would be much more in NYC.

Can't you just move the hell away?  What is holding you there?

A beautiful woman who puts up with my shit.
