I did not receive an AWOL thread from you guys!  I could burn the forum down...

I noticed, I cared, but I still had Wilbur. Losing you both would knock me down to Page, Mr. Burr,  and Krazy. This cannot be allowed to happen.

Well!  It's off then cheeze.

I can't win. :)

You know I consider you just 1 peg below Wilbur.

Any man who can forgive your father in law like you did is and will always be A+

I would have killed him 27 times by now.

Not father in law, step father.  I never forgave him.  I'm not sure we ever spoke to each other again after the day he killed the car.  I just got married and that kept me busy.  I never made another pass down the track after that day either.  I worked for some other drivers, but my heart wasn't in it.

You survived, that is what counts. You should help me find an original limelight yellow 69 Dodge Charger.  This would do your heart well.   :)

I know where this one was.  That was my part time FC ride.

The pic is from behind a barn in Maine and the body is all cut up.

Pain in my heart.   :(

Old race cars don't have many pastures to get put out in.  They often die horrible deaths left out in the rain to rust after all the good parts are taken off.  That's why I appreciate good museums like the NASCAR one in Darlington or the Garlits one in Ocala.  Both are way cool and well worth the trip.
