Popular Post MickinMD ★ Posted September 6, 2019 Popular Post Share #1 Posted September 6, 2019 I bought it for $145.55 in 2015 and wish I owned a lot more shares! Last week Costco opened its first Chinese warehouse store in Shanghai and had to close early because the crowd got too big. 139,000 Chinese signed up for annual membership on day one. What a great way to beat the tariffs! It's up about 10% since then and may be a little overpriced now. But it's one I expect to hold onto for a long time. 2

Dirtyhip Posted September 6, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 6, 2019 Nice. We own Costco, but though the mutual funds. I owned some AMZN, but closed my position and did very well. That was some hefty priced stocks. Been stocking up on VIS, for increased industrials.
Scrapr ★ Posted September 6, 2019 Share #4 Posted September 6, 2019 My McDonalds stock is a bit behind your Costco.I just can't believe it's at $220. It was stuck at $60-80 not long ago. Plus a nice dividend *ok I looked it up $80 stock was aboot 10 years ago. So sue me
smudge ★ Posted September 6, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 6, 2019 But will the Costco stock hold that value or settle back down to where it was?
12string Posted September 6, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2019 sell it. Not sure when. There's a recession coming, retail and banking are going to take a hit (as will most). I'm starting to move into cash, but it's worth waiting until after the China trade talks pump up the market
