Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted September 26, 2020 Share #9 Posted September 26, 2020 Damn, that’s an accomplishment! I know some guys who did the C&O in one day and they all said, never again. Congratulations to your friend. He could’ve bunked here post ride if we’d known. We’d feed him well.

He broke the trail rules that require you to be off the trail before dark. Petite and I broke that rule one night. We didn’t go to jail.
Bikeguy Posted September 27, 2020 Share #13 Posted September 27, 2020 Not knowing about this trail I looked it up.... Google.. https://gaptrail.org/trail-info/about-the-trail Am I reading this correct... Now complete to Pittsburgh, the 150-mile Great Allegheny Passage connects with the 184.5-mile C&0 Canal Towpath at Cumberland, MD to create a 334.5-mile route between Pittsburgh and Washington, DC, That's a LONG ride. Yeah... beast would be correct. Or now tired beast.

I hit a big pothole that was full of water and my trailer went airborne. Petite was right behind me.
