donkpow Posted November 28, 2020 Share #2 Posted November 28, 2020 If you went ahead and stole the whole roll, you'd feel better most of the time. 2

I carefully take the seal off and cut off a few feet and carefully put the seal back. Last time I did that he did know that I took some I just sent him pictures of what I made with it.

Ralphie ★ Posted November 28, 2020 Share #9 Posted November 28, 2020 You could substitute a roll of window screen and see if he notices. 1

maddmaxx ★ Posted November 28, 2020 Share #11 Posted November 28, 2020 I want some 2 and 3mm carbon fiber sheet and a CNC milling machine. I'd probably have to steal it to get it.
JerrySTL ★ Posted November 28, 2020 Share #12 Posted November 28, 2020 I have a roll of asbestos gasket material if you want it. Must be 45 years old from back in the day when you often had to make your own gaskets. I'm sure that the Post Office won't mind me mailing it to you. 1

Since I don't have a autoclave I work it almost the same way I do fiber glasses. I will take styrofoam and carve it to the shape the I want. Then make a plaster mold off the styrofoam and then make the carbon piece from that. Easy as that. That is the process that I used to make the nose cone on the sidecar. 1
