MickinMD ★ Posted July 7, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 7, 2020 When I had a sinus problem in mid-March, I had to wait in my car in the office parking lot, phone the office to say I was there, was handed a mask at my car and escorted inside where I didn't see any other patients in a 4-doctor office. I just phoned to see what the procedure is for my Friday diabetic Blood Test and the follow-up with the Doc the following Friday. It's all back to normal except for masks and social distancing: just walk in the door wearing a mask, check-in, and sit while social distancing. Of course, I always social distance in the doctor's office anyway! This is going to be easy this week because they always call me for the blood test within 10 minutes of arrival, but next week I see the Doc and he is often 1/2 - 3/4 hour behind schedule. Sitting with a mask on for that time is doable but will be uncomfortable.
Dottleshead ★ Posted July 7, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 7, 2020 They've learned more about it. Masks and social distancing most likely are the wave of the future. Mid-March was an uncertain time.
petitepedal ★ Posted July 7, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 7, 2020 Wish I could say the same for Wells Fargo..10th in line outside...waiting to deposit work cash..they are not doing inside teller stuff at the branch near work. I have to deposit coin..also I do not believe in driving 1 block to use the drive through.

This may last for a while.

They've always let me go to the drive through on a bike. The people in line behind me sometimes seem unhappy but the tellers don't care.

It's like they expect me to get out of their way so they can take my place as if I was less than human.

Heck, I would sometimes visit with people I knew that were driving when waiting in line and I was walking or biking .

You get used to it but they are hot. 6 hours ago, sheep_herder said: Walk through here walks with the cars. Inside is by appointment only. This may last for a while. It’s not that hard.
