Popular Post smudge ★ Posted November 20, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 20, 2020 I am happy to report I have beat this addiction, but I was hoarding pallets from work. Got some nice pieces, but I can now stop. Thing is, I have to store this wood now. I made these storage racks for the wood. First one took a little time , but the second one went more smoothly. The best part is I now have more floor space! 7

Longjohn ★ Posted November 20, 2020 Share #4 Posted November 20, 2020 I was thinking of designing a pallet stove that would automatically feed pallets into the stove as needed. I used to deliver to a place in NJ that had a mountain of pallets they wanted to give away. It would be neat to heat your house for free. You could probably sell the nails at a scrap yard.

maddmaxx ★ Posted November 20, 2020 Share #6 Posted November 20, 2020 Now you have enough stuff in the shed to start considering anti mouse defenses. Today and tomorrow when it's warm and I'm working on the leaves, my shed doors will be open and my cats will be in cat heaven. I think when I close up after the leaves I will set some traps. Actually, knock on wood, I've been fairly critter free.

Design your stove to be able to handle the nails. They are a pain in the ass to try to remove.

They would come out in the ashes, probably need to sift them.
