On a sadder note, I was also charged with spending some co-branded marketing dollars

Don't ask me to do any math calculations today.

Last night, I reconciled my credit cards with the record I keep.  Costco Citi Visa was off by $12.84 in my favor.  Amazon Store Card was of $74.84 in my favor.  Last month Amazon was off by $14.16 in my favor. $12,84 sounds like fast food I forgot to record - the Costco Visa gives 3% cash-back at restaurants. I couldn't find the Amazon errors - there's nothing listed I didn't buy - but sometimes the amount from a single order gets split into pieces on the online list of charges that get applied on more than one billing and sometimes the automatically-applied to statement cash-back doesn't get applied until the next statement and I was expecting $13.79 in cash-back (5% of purchases!). So Amazon's often off in reconciliation and then balances over time.
