AirwickWithCheese Posted July 30, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 30, 2021 That would have been a good life. I think even better than being a bag boy at the Winn Dixie on Old Buncombe Road. 1

Road Runner Posted July 30, 2021 Share #4 Posted July 30, 2021 Why do child TV stars seem to disappear in adulthood? From TV and film, I mean. Except for Opie of course.

Road Runner Posted July 30, 2021 Share #7 Posted July 30, 2021 Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow could have been cast on a less profane version of Two and a Half Men.
Road Runner Posted July 30, 2021 Share #8 Posted July 30, 2021 Jerry Mathers is currently reduced to doing foot exercise machine commercials on late night TV. Very sad.

Kirby Posted July 30, 2021 Share #14 Posted July 30, 2021 Darn @Philander Seabury beat me to the well reference. I agree it seems pretty charming, but an inordinate number of bad things did happen (before Lassie came to the rescue)

AirwickWithCheese Posted July 30, 2021 Author Share #20 Posted July 30, 2021 Our farm truck would be white with a red roof. Not sure if Ford or Chevrolet, but with the spare tire on the side. Our bumper sticker would read I Like Ike.

AirwickWithCheese Posted July 30, 2021 Author Share #24 Posted July 30, 2021 We would go into town on Tuesdays and Saturdays for a chocolate malt and for picnics by the fountain. All the pretty girls would want to sit by Lassie.

AirwickWithCheese Posted July 30, 2021 Author Share #26 Posted July 30, 2021 I'm considering retiring early. Resigning more accurate. I need to find a small farm surrounded by pretty women. No snakes, lots of collies and jack russells. Church twice on Sundays, men wear ties. The ladies wear hats and peach, violet, or chiffon sun dresses.

Bill Mumy did OK after his Lost in Space days. He played Lennier in Babylon 5 in 109 episodes. One little known fact is that he was in Barnes & Barnes who created the novelty song Fish Heads.
