From overglued labels to stupidly placed tape

My Tfal 12 qt stockpot arrived today - the rim permanently bent out of shape.  I got a return code from Amazon and dropped it off at Kohl's Amazon Return counter.

My 3 qt strainer-lid pot with spout arrived fine, except the instruction sheets were held on with tape across the print and it began ripping the paper as I lifted the tape:

I very carefully was able to get it off from the other end, which left me with a permanently sticky document:

Labels are annoying. What really irks me is those plastic pieces that make hang tags. Some, when cut, fall into the item never to be seen again. Only half actually falls out for disposable.

So YOU'RE the guy.   I always knew there had to be someone out there that actually read those things

I have a pocket knife. I have only recently returned to carrying one full time. 9/11.

I have an array of edged tools.  I always carry one.  Keep on in my day pack for work and scouts and usually have one in the car.

I do not carry my pistol unless I am going to the range.

I permanently bent the rim on a stock pot with one overtaped box.  Emptied a full mag on that box.   Sent it back for some other smuck to deal with.

I only use Irish tape, I hate anything Scottish.
