Popular Post Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted October 10, 2021 Popular Post Share #3 Posted October 10, 2021 Around here, when I look outside evenings are starting to look like this: I think Mother Nature did a software update from the evening blue square to the black one. 2 1

groupw Posted October 11, 2021 Share #6 Posted October 11, 2021 I would have started the fire pit, but the gnats are plentiful tonight!
MickinMD ★ Posted October 11, 2021 Share #7 Posted October 11, 2021 I love days with long daylight periods and now I feel a little less ready to start the day because it's still dark outside when I awake in the morning. Still, the temperatures and light breezes have been wonderful, considering the avg. high temp locally drops from 69° now to 63° by the end of the month. The forecast looks great for this week but it's predicting overnight temperatures will drop to around 50° beginning next week, compared to the low-to-mid 60's so far this month. I may have to turn the furnace on for 15 min. in the mornings to knock out the chill the last half of the month, but hopefully Indian Summer will keep chugging along and let me have another month with a very low gas and electric bill.
