Former member Posted December 17, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 17, 2014 People from Boston use the letter R when they speak, but it's not always audible. Sometimes it's audible in words where the use of the sound is only implied.

Former member Posted December 17, 2014 Share #6 Posted December 17, 2014 I exist, and have a bit of fresh road rash to prove it. Front wheel slid out when it hit a bump during a right turn. Nothing major, but my hip joint is a bit swollen. No damage to the bike, and only the elbow of my baselayer was torn.

Randomguy Posted December 17, 2014 Share #16 Posted December 17, 2014 I am not familiar with the RI language. Is it anything as annoying as the Bronx speaking? RI is the worst in the country. Bronx accent is now hood-ghetto accent, with lots of negroes calling each other horrible names in each sentence.
Zephyr Posted December 17, 2014 Share #17 Posted December 17, 2014 SW has in the past self proclaimed that he is NOT a Red Sox fan and has complained about the team and Fenway Park. Blasphemy, I tell you, Blasphemy!! Even if he is from there, they should kick him out and send him to (insert lame-ass State here)

Blasphemy, I tell you, Blasphemy!! Even if he is from there, they should kick him out and send him to (insert lame-ass State here) I would rather have a root canal than win season tickets to the Red Sox. Baseball is only good for inducing naps. Plus there is nowhere to park near where I work, so we rent space inside Fenway. Being around that area during a game is a mess. How about the Newfoundland Red Sox?
Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted December 17, 2014 Share #20 Posted December 17, 2014 I worked in Boston for a summer. I was trying to meet another engineer for a project we were working on and he said "Pahk yah cah down by the bahdge at the hahbah." I had him repeat it a couple of times until I finally figured out he'd said 'barge' instead of 'badge'. And then he asked me why I had so much trouble understanding English. Square Wheels Posted December 17, 2014 Share #22 Posted December 17, 2014 You get to park at Fenway every day?? You are now officially the coolest person I know Not exactly that exciting. There is a semi indoor parking section probably behind the first base side. Clearly the park is blocked off from us. We used to have two floors, but the park folks keep taking away parts of it and converting it in fan event places. In this image, I park in that building behind the Bud sign. From inside the garage, there are some locked doors that could get you right into the park.
