Last yrearm my 16th seed alma mater UMBC whacking Nationally-ranked #1 Virginia 74-54 was my then almost advancing to the sweet 16 was my highlight for the year. This year I rooting for - though not betting on - Maryland, but they are the youngest team in the tournament and didn't look good against very good teams at the end of the regular season and league tournament. This year, I missed a some first round picks at CBS but missed none of the teams I picked to win in the 2nd round, etc. The goal there is to end up in the top 10% from which the random drawing for the winning prize (at bottom) occurs: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I don't think we had much opportunity to watch it 24/7 like nowadays. None of us had cable, so it would have just been whatever was on broadcast TV or if we went to someone's parent's house that had cable. A big "Meh"!
