I know that I do not really enjoy snow or cold that much, but I have not been around that much either and I do not have the correct equpment to properly enjoy it. I know your scenery if much nicer than mine for sure. I think people focus too much on the cold. It's really not that bad most of the time. I typically wear a lightweight jacket most of the winter. Snow sports can be so much fun. Riding a fatbike in the woods is a blast. The trees block the wind and you generate your own heat.
