Allen ★ Posted October 26, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2020 Like I said, I’m prone to making mistakes after 1:00 am. Got up to go to the bathroom late night last night. No, I did not turn on the light. Yes, I stubbed my toe right into the foot of the dresser. Im all limpy today and put out about it. My toe is all purple. It hurt like hell putting on my socks and shoes. You would think if I could find the dresser in the dark I could find the Motrin in the day. /grumble. 2
jsharr ★ Posted October 26, 2020 Share #2 Posted October 26, 2020 You need to wire your place with those smart lights that come on with a voice command. "Jeeves, turn on the bathroom pathway lights."

team scooter Posted October 26, 2020 Share #6 Posted October 26, 2020 We have night lights in the bathrooms. The rest of the house is lit up like a Christmas tree by the lights on the dish receiver, stove, microwave, coffee maker, smoke detectors, room air filters, etc, etc....... No wonder I cant sleep at night.

MickinMD ★ Posted October 26, 2020 Share #8 Posted October 26, 2020 Been there. When I first moved into my apartment in March, I was banging my feet and head on unexpected corners and shelving, etc. I took to wearing fisherman'a sandals rather than going barefoot as often as possible. Lots of foot ventilation but protection from stubbing. If I go walking outside in fisherman's sandals, I wear a size 10 so they don't slide and cause a blister. I bought size 11 for in the house so they feel a little loose and comfortable all day.
