Popular Post Kirby Posted February 2, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted February 2, 2021 About 21 years ago I saw a very cute kitty out in the garden. This made me smile. He was feral and wouldn't let me near him, but he kept coming around. This made me intrigued. Eventually he started coming around on a regular basis. This made me happy. One day he came around and had a number of bad cuts. I took him to the vet who gave me medicine for him to take every day. So I kept him inside and took care of him. This made me relieved and made my other cat sort of not very happy. For the next 20 years my little kitty kept me laughing with his hijinks. This made me happy. He also was there to cheer me up for 20 years of ups and downs and passing of various family members. This made me feel very fondly towards him. A few weeks ago my little kitty got sick. This made very sad. Last week, he passed away, which made me very sad, but also glad that he wasn't in pain. RIP Little kitty About five years ago, there was a sweet little kitty living on the streets of New York City. She was smart enough to make friends with my not wild sister. When the little kitty got pregnant, my sister brought the kitty home and made her a nice little home for when she had her kittens. This made everyone happy. Eventually sis o"Kirby found homes for all the kittens and Mom Cat went to live with mother of Kirby. This made everyone very satisfied. Mom Kirby would call her cat a "good little companion". , When Mom Kirby passed, my wild sister offered the kitty a home (other sister had family with bad allergies to cats). This made us relieved. Wild Sister's cats weren't too nice to the good little companion. This made the kitty sad. She was safe and well fed, but spent a lot of time hiding from the other animals. This made us all sad. A few days after my kitty died, I picked up the good little companion and she has been having a good time exploring my house. She has not found any other kitties. This has made her very happy. She is still a little shy but has already found a number of comfy spots to nap. I think she will be a good little companion and this makes me very happy. The End and the Beginning. 8 2

2Far ★ Posted February 2, 2021 Share #5 Posted February 2, 2021 FWIW, 20 years is an exceptionally long gift your kittie gave you. We seem to run into the low-to-mid teens, though we frequently don't know how old our furry friends actually are. PtWC was adopted by Carly in 2010 from the Humane Society. She was already spayed and declawed and had been returned to the pound. We're WAGing she was about 1-2 then.
Kirby Posted February 2, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted February 2, 2021 I had my cat for 20 years, and fed him for about a year when he was still feral, All my cats were strays or rescues, so I've never known their exact age. But then my current cat is a female and it's not polite to ask a lady her age anyway.

Yes, but I'm going to see if it sticks. I want to change it, but I think it may be too late in the game for that.
Ralphie ★ Posted February 3, 2021 Share #10 Posted February 3, 2021 Cute kitty. They both have beautiful markings. Sorry you lost the first one but at least 20 years is a remarkable lifetime for a pet! And I hope that by some miracle she is not plotting to kill you!
