Softride!

I probably wouldn't buy a tandem without disk brakes or at least the drum brakes some tandems had. With nearly twice the weight, stopping can be an adventure using rim brakes.

There is a tandem in the rental stables at St. Simons.  Been there for years. It has coaster brakes. They are impossible.
The front and rear pedals aren’t parallel either.

Bikeguy might be!  He's snot that far away either.

Thanks for thinking of my tandem problem....

The jury is still out.  I should be able to get my tandem to the LBS (hopefully this nest week) to see what needs to be done to repair, or replace the frame.  Or worse replace the tandem.  :(

After the verdict comes in..  I'll know what to do.

Just curious...   why 2 chainrings in the sync chain of the this tandem that's for sale???

I recently sold a bike. I put an add on Craigslist and got 7 scammer replies, and 1 possibly legit reply. My wife posted the same add on the local facebook marketplace, she got a couple dozen replies in the 16 hours that the add was up, the first person to call showed up and bought it.

Bikes are in huge demand right now, but around here anyway Craigslist has a bad rap.
