Popular Post jsharr ★ Posted February 21, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted February 21, 2022 Ginger, as you may recall, is our adopted chihuahua terrier mix from Australia that came to live with us after his owner could not keep him after selling off her sheep station and moving to town. Ginger has some serious health issues, primary of which are an enlarged heart and respiratory issues that lead to pneumonia. He woke up with a lot of coughing at 4 AM and will not eat or take his medicine. We gave him an injection which should help and Martha took him to the vet as soon as they opened. These trips to the vet for the coughing, due to liquid in the lungs and low blood oxygen levels are becoming more frequent and I know that some time soon he will not be coming home. 3

jsharr ★ Posted February 21, 2022 Author Share #10 Posted February 21, 2022 So the vet keeps Ginger for observation all day. Not One Cough! Martha called to tell me Ginger is a little shit! He is also very high strung and gets really nervous and then he breathes fast and shallow. I am wondering if he has to be really relaxed, maybe deep asleep, deper breathing and laying on one side for this to happen?
