Dottleshead ★ Posted May 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2022 I’m going to give this detox and possible weight loss therapy a shot. Supposed to be really good to help prevent memory loss and all other diseases. Infrared means it goes deeper and not as hot and supposedly stimulates cell growth. It’s one of many self care practices I hope to incorporate. You been?

Square Wheels Posted May 8, 2022 Share #3 Posted May 8, 2022 Nope. Eat less. Sadly, good food choices are the only long term option.
Longjohn ★ Posted May 8, 2022 Share #4 Posted May 8, 2022 I’m skeptical of anything that stimulates cell growth. Some cells you definitely don’t want to stimulate growth.

Kirby Posted May 9, 2022 Share #11 Posted May 9, 2022 I don't think I've ever been in a regular sauna, nevermind an infrared one.

I think I tried it once..it was such a long time. Meaning decades ago. It's not my thing to sit around and sweat it out. I'd rather be doing something outdoors that distracts me from all the sweating..with a very light breeze blowing.

Probably nothing but lost money but may be worth a shot. I’ll go with Mayoclinic article. Basically more studies. I’d appreciate it if you would donate $1 million to the cause, man. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/expert-answers/infrared-sauna/faq-20057954
