Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted January 13, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2015 We received this as part of a Christmas gift, and I didn't pay too much attention to the label. At first... I'm no big fan of summer sausage in the first place, but what does it take for food to become 'factory seconds'?

2Far ★ Posted January 13, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2015 I'd be hoping that it was the askew label.. But then how did they know that when they put it on?
Ralphie ★ Posted January 13, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2015 What cheap bastard gave you that? Not someone from here, I hope!
Johnny Come Lately Name Posted January 13, 2015 Share #5 Posted January 13, 2015 That's just food industry labeling double-speak. It means "all the stuff that wasn't fit to be ground up for dog food".

Square Wheels Posted January 13, 2015 Share #7 Posted January 13, 2015 Yay, it's gluten free. I find people will offer me the oddest items, or feel compelled to tell me of every gluten free item they see in the world. I rarely even tell people I am gluten free, usually only when I try to politely decline some pastry item, often repeatedly. Then I give in and tell them. team scooter Posted January 13, 2015 Share #8 Posted January 13, 2015 Its the Old Wisconsin brand so its all good. Made in Sheboygan so its a local company (to me). They package their stuff for many different companies. Summer sausage, beer and some Wisconsin cheese curds....
Zealot Posted January 13, 2015 Share #9 Posted January 13, 2015 Dude, it read scarily close to " My Flab was Gassed and my Ass was Tarnished"... ;-)
BR46 Posted January 13, 2015 Share #10 Posted January 13, 2015 I work next door to the Old Wisconsin sausage factory. Some of the factory seconds are just under weight. Some days someone from work will run next door and pick up some sausages and every body will be eating sausage on the shop floor. Now that I think of it that's why a lot of people that I work with are fat!
2Far ★ Posted January 14, 2015 Share #11 Posted January 14, 2015 So, are you gruntled or disgruntled with the gift?
