Asphalt question

Okay so they are gonna install new driveways and parking lot at my Condo...Construction is from the 8th to the 23rd....after that ..they are saying no motorcycles (I wanna say they said for a year on them...) due to kickstand digging a hole in the new pavement  (whatever kind of surface they are doing)..and from July to the end of October...they want you to move your car daily so as to not cause the pavement/asphalt to sink or whatever...while it cures...

Is this hooey??? or is there some truth to it????

Asphalt will deform in response to a concentrated force over a small area (motorcycle kickstand) or repeated forces in the same area (parking in the same spot).  It's almost like ice, which responds to pressure much the same way.  The key is to spread out the forces, such as putting a metal plate under the motorcycle kickstand.
