jsharr ★ Posted July 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2017 From what I can tell, a maintenance worker doing something on one of the boats started a fire. It spread rapidly. I did not take these pics. Stole them from a friends social media page. The marina is called Highport Marina. It is on Lake Texoma, a large lake on the Texas Oklahoma border. BuffJim Posted July 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2017 I'ts gonna take a lot of PBR to fix that employee. I bet he's saying, I should have called in sick today. Is it called in or called off sick? We always said called in, my daughter says called off.
jsharr ★ Posted July 19, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted July 19, 2017 Here is a before shot from Google Earth. Looks to have either 20 or 24 slips and boats around 25 to 30 feet, so damages will be in the millions I bet. It is not hard to spend $100k on a 25' boat. tybeegb Posted July 20, 2017 Share #10 Posted July 20, 2017 Wow. I would rate that in the "suspicious" category with a "still under investigation" subheading.

Well that is pretty stupid, isn't it? Lots of burny things on the ocean and lakes, like gasoline and lamps and fire sharks and godzilla, you would think they would try a little harder to make them less likely to implode at any given second.
