Road Runner Posted October 3, 2017 Share #4 Posted October 3, 2017 No thanks. That is why I live in the Southeast and put up with exposure to hurricanes. I hate cold weather and snow.

LoneWolf Posted October 3, 2017 Share #6 Posted October 3, 2017 By "cooler", I meant 75 instead of 95. In my ideal universe, temperatures would vary between 50-80 degrees. I'd probably allow for one week of colder temperatures and snow for all of the people that need to go nuts and jump in icy waters, go tobogganing, and all of those cultural oddities. Maybe two every leap year.

I would much rather live somewhere where, when the weather is really bad, they tell you to stay home than live somewhere where, when the weather is really bad, they tell you to GTFO.

ChrisL Posted October 4, 2017 Share #12 Posted October 4, 2017 SoCal has had a really mild late summer and early fall. Its still too early to give up on a heatwave but its been cool here with lows in the 50's and highs in the low 80's. It can easily hit triple digits this time of year. Our weather rarely changes with average temps in the 70's and it rarely freezes here but well get a heat wave 2-3 times a year.
