Longjohn ★ Posted November 17, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 17, 2018 So the first real cold weather we have had and a new cat shows up on our front porch. It is a very pregnant tiger cat. I open the door to put some food out for it and it wants to come inside. This is snot a feral cat, it is obviously somebody’s house cat that didn’t want to deal with kittens and dropped it off out in the country. I can’t feed everybody. Anyone want a cat lady starter kit? I’ll even throw in the first bag of cat food. 3

Square Wheels Posted November 17, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 17, 2018 You a good guy, and a crazy cat person. Build them their own room.
Longjohn ★ Posted November 17, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted November 17, 2018 I have to go buy some underlayment, there is a Chinese buffet next door. Maybe they will take some of them?
BuffJim Posted November 17, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 17, 2018 I had a date with a cat lady a few years ago. She actually thought that each of her six cats had its own personality. Sorry to hear about your predicament. Some people have low character and take it out on their pets.
Randomguy Posted November 17, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 17, 2018 Cats are disgusting. That said, they are creatures with personalities and feelings and such, and I always treat them as well as I can. Maybe you can snatch and take to an adoption place so the kitty bitch can have her insides shredded to prevent more kittens being born out of wedlock. On the other hand, do you have a mouse or bird problem you want sorted? Let the kitty stick around with a bit of food during the pregnancy, it will still hunt while disgusting and knocked up, so there is that. Good luck!

donkpow Posted November 17, 2018 Share #12 Posted November 17, 2018 I get angry over this situation, too. We live about a block away from some large apartment complexes. There is a small wooded area between us and them. I believe it is a coyote feeding ground.

If it wasn’t for coyotes we would be wall to wall cats.

They do quite well taking care of the rodents. Now if I could just get them to catch and eat the groundhogs.
