petitepedal ★ Posted November 22, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2018 My little bird will be done in about 3 hours...no rush to get it in the oven..sipping tea and watching.....yup a cooking show...since I cannot wave to RO at the Macy's parade...I will settle for cooking shows. Eat well, be safe and blessings to everyone! 2

Popular Post Tizeye Posted November 22, 2018 Popular Post Share #3 Posted November 22, 2018 Thanks. As can tell from the other thread, turkey survives another day. Traditionally go to my mom's but wife not up to an hour plus drive each way so planned a private Turkey dinner for the two of us. Had to change the menu, so hamburgers tonight. But the good news is, looks like finally off the opioid based pain killers with withdrawal symptoms climaxing last evening and now using plain Tylenol.
Further Posted November 22, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 22, 2018 Happy Turkey Day to all. We leave shortly to go to sis in laws, about a 2 hour drive, should be a good time a lot of the family is gathering. My wife seldom leaves the house so I'm thankful that she will get out and socialize a bit.
Popular Post goldendesign Posted November 22, 2018 Popular Post Share #5 Posted November 22, 2018 Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Got done at the turkey trot our neighborhood organized. I cheated. The one mile fun run was what the wife did, i walked the stroller a few houses down, let daughter play in the grass and as the people came back i joined as if i had accomplished the run. Truth be toldm i was probably as tired as some of em. No daughter is napping before we goto the clubhouse for dinner. They put on a good spread and best part I don't have to cook or clean.
ChrisL Posted November 22, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 22, 2018 Happy Turkey day! Gonna drop the bird off shortly so daughters MIL can cook it. Was thinking about a ride but it rained all night and is probably pretty sloppy out. Heading over to daughters in laws at 3.

Tizeye Posted November 23, 2018 Share #9 Posted November 23, 2018 @Longjohn...Nice looking family. Looks like one was either bored, ate too much, or it was nap time or a combination of the three as he fell asleep.

They were afraid of my brother in law's Yorky. I couldn't believe it scared them, it's a very friendly happy dog, it acts like a puppy and they haven't been around it before. They just wanted held up safe from that vicious doggy.
