Honestly...., I would do some research first and find out where Halle Berry takes her morning shower.8 points

A better question would be "What would you do if you were invincible for one day". If you want to test the character of an individual, give them power.7 points

My first thought was it's from Petite. I recently shamed her into feeling guilty that she has sent each of you on the forum 6 gifts already and this would be my first. Petite is at home sucking morphine down from a straw so I eliminated her. Then Jsharr. 24 years I've known the bastard. Not 1 Christmas card or even a post in the Happy Birthday Cheese thread. Did Dorothy give him a new heart? Doubtful. My beloved Kirby? Normally yes, but she has already given me the best mug on the face of the earth. I drink my hot chocolate three times a day from that same mug for the last 8 years. Plus this mug has the fake Chris picture and Kirby knows better. RG? Who's kidding who? Aire?, maybe but a hunch tells me no. So I do not know who deserves my thanks. It will go nicely with my approximately 700 other Partridge Family collectibles but toward the back because of the fake Chris mistake.6 points

If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? This is today's middle school writing prompt question. I am really interested in how you would answer it. I would spend my day going from classroom to classroom to see what happens when I am not there. I know, as a fact, that when I walk in a room everyone puts on their best show. (Well except for those who don't know who I am.) True story, I stopped a staff person in the hall one time because I did not like something they were doing. She looked at me and said in a negative way--"Well, who do you think you are to tell me what to do?" I simply put out my hand (precovid), shook hers and said, "Hi, I am Doctor Sheffer and I am the superintendent. I am your boss's boss's boss's boss." Look on her face was priceless. Now If I could see , when invisible, if people were doing great stuff I would give them a spontaneous award of $100.5 points

This reminds me of something that happened where I used to work. One day I was walking through the factory with the big guy.....we turned the corner and there were a few guys screwing off. Stuart said something to them and one of the guys said well who the fuck are you......I laughed and said......his name is on the side of the building and his signature is on your paycheck. The look was priceless and they got back to work without saying a word.5 points

Contractor finally got us on the schedule and began the work. The cabinets and countertop were made in their shop. The doors are made by someone else and coming later this week. Locks for the file cabinets, very small drawer boxes for the server and 3d printer cabinets so they can be easily pulled out, the ventilation fans need to be wired to the exhaust ducts. Overall very happy with the look.4 points

Have you looked critically at the vent fans? I have heard that vent fans are one of the few things that can bring down construction projects.4 points

Truthfully, @AirwickWithCheese is a pro about carpets as his family owned the business. I sincerely got good flooring advice from him.3 points

I would say "You're welcome!" but you know me better than that. And I despise the Partridge Family. Named after birds...3 points

I really don't know. I'd guess my hero Road Runner but I'm not allowed to correspond with him much less expect a gift.3 points

I have been making them dinner nightly & we bring it by. Since CJ doesn’t know any better yet I spend my time there spoiling Smokey with love. Whenever someone else is holding the baby my daughter also gives him lots of love. But Smokey really is handling the change well.3 points

the locker room thing. I would love to hang out with RG, but would prefer that he and I were both visible to each other at the very least.3 points

RG is a good deed doer and I am glad. I won't share the nice thing he did because he is shy but trust me it was thoughtful.3 points

I'm using a 3d printed version of this: Using Noctua 120mm fans and arduino controller that in the server cabinet checks ambient temps and adjusts cooling. Since I switched to thin client, micro PCs instead of my power hogs r720s tis will be more than sufficient. The 3d printer booth has the same but uses a custom script in the Octo-Pi controller that ramps up exhaust based on air quality using a Adafruit PMSA003I. Only runs when printer is active and also has a temperature sensor to make sure the fans don't go too crazy changing the temps. Too much of a swing and the material can become brittle or delaminate in areas as it cools too fast. I3 points

when you are invisible, the cold cannot find you and you float 1 inch above everything due to decreased gravitational pull. So you can walk on fire, or sit on a chair of thorns or whatever. FACT!!!!2 points

The floor is fantastic! An acacia wood flooring https://www.flooranddecor.com/solid-hardwood-wood/burlywood-ii-acacia-distressed-solid-hardwood-100785005.html Different stain than the photo. Have that in all bedrooms, rest of the house is travertine slabs.2 points

Yeah.... that place is great. WoBG and I hiked up to Chimney Pond. We decided we'd skip going to the top of Mt Katahdin. We were on a day hike and we wanted to get back to the camp ground sooner than later.2 points

As my dad passed when I was 14 I always wondered what it would be like to have a father figure nag on me or give me advice. I wonder how I would have turned out had he not passed so young.2 points
