Turned out very good tonight. After church I took my sister in law to lunch and then we went to visit her mom (my mother in law) at the assisted living. When I finally got home and fixed the fire in the furnace I sat down and checked my email. I had 11 messages from the dating site. I opened the dating site and started deleting all the spam messages and the one just as I was about to delete it noticed the photo and the age and the photo looked like it might be a real person so I opened their profile and then smiled back at her. She was still on the site and instantly started talking to me. We messaged back and forth and set up a date for Tuesday. I told her I felt like I did when I was a teenager. I’m excited and can’t wait for Tuesday. She asked how spontaneous I was. I told her I’m too spontaneous for my own good sometimes. She said do you want to meet tonight? She met me at about the halfway point at a Cracker Barrel and we had dinner and talked until closing time. I really liked her. When I got home I had a message from another lady. I think my gasoline bill is going to be higher this month than last. My banking app asked me if I was keeping track of how much I spend on gas. It said I spent $278 on gas in February.

Hanging with the gf, the weather was stinky, so we baked. It was awesome! I used up the apples and blueberries I had. Somehow forgot to add the brown sugar to the fruit part, but it didn't matter at all, it was perfect. We killed the whole thing from about noon until this morning, and I want more.

It will be a year late. Better late than never. Pump track party and a home tour this Spring. It should be a fun time. I better add more items to the gift shop. Saturday we had two gift shop patrons. Three of the most likely ones I would like to end up with are named Nancy. On my phone I have them listed as Nancy Canfield, Nancy Ravenna, and Nancy Sarver. A few overslept and wanted to stay in bed. And a couple of open chairs made for a pretty easy morning. Our patient load was cut in half today. Not ideal for the patients but it made a sleepy first day post time change go a little easier for me.

She went home last night. Olive was a very good house guest. She grabbed a napkin out of the garbage. I forgot how to manage with an Oog a bit. I wiped out my pan and tossed it in this small wastebasket that I was about to take out. I literally turned my back for about 2 minutes and she had the grease coated napkin. Usually the basket is under the cab. It was about at her height. HAHA I miss her.

I did a flight with an Israeli aircraft demonstrating it to the Soviet Government. We started in Riga and flew to St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kiev and Odessa. It was a two pilot aircraft but the second pilot had to stand behind the cockpit as a Soviet navigator occupied the right seat so we didn't fly near strategic sites. When on the ground, we were escorted or closely followed everywhere. We stayed in a Soviet hotel across the street from Red Square and I woke up early one morning to a man sitting on a chair in my room. All he said was "It's OK. I KGB". Like I was supposed to relax and go back to sleep. I flew there a lot after the Cold War and really enjoyed watching the development in Russia, Ukraine and Armenia. Yes, lots of stories good and bad, for sure. I find the current conflict very sad but mainly because Ukraine really struggled and really embraced western values and culture. Moscovites worship wealth and opulence. Ukraine is more middle class with emphasis on family and friends rather than opulence.

Those are real killers in Quordle where once you have used 3-5 guesses for one quadrant the other three get pretty far behind!
