Popular Post BuffJim Posted May 19, 2022 Popular Post Share #4 Posted May 19, 2022 I finally got off my a** and connected my WiFi on the camera. Going out Saturday and looking for some nice birds. Have captured a Wood Thrush, Robin with a snack., Eastern Kingbird, Mourning Doves, and Canada Goslings lately. 6

MickinMD ★ Posted May 20, 2022 Share #6 Posted May 20, 2022 All awesome. I tried to take a photo of a mourning dove this morning in my yard: I haven't seen any for awhile, but it was through a window screen and not clear.] At my last house there was a large flock of mourning doves that often hung out inside my backyard fence -I had no dogs, etc. They got so used to me that when I'd work in the yard and walk toward them, they'd just walk to an area where I wasn't working. BuffJim Posted May 21, 2022 Share #8 Posted May 21, 2022 I had a very frustrating time trying to get bird pictures. Couldn’t get camera focused on birds I knew were I could hear and see. Saw many warblers but they moved to fast for me to catch with the camera. Ended up taking potshots in the hopes I could zoom in after the fact. I finally got a Yellow Warbler to sit still for me, but I bumped the settings and the blurry one here is the best I got 🤬. Cedar waxwings always look cool. At first glance the pics just looked like leaves, but the I spotted the birds. Zoomed in and cropped the pics. I’m still nowhere near @Chris... level, but felt like I at least accomplished something. Kirby Posted May 21, 2022 Share #9 Posted May 21, 2022 All lovely, but hummingbirds always remind me of little gems. Just a marvel. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Popular Post BuffJim Posted May 29, 2022 Popular Post Share #11 Posted May 29, 2022 Went to the Montezuma Wildlife preserve the last couple days. Eagles, Herons, Egrets, Osprey, Sandhill Cranes, with babies( colts) I didn’t see when I took the pictures. Loon is from my Mom’s backyard. Also couldn’t see with naked eye.
BuffJim Posted June 13, 2022 Share #12 Posted June 13, 2022 Some pics from my county over the last couple weeks. Northern Flicker and a hawk, maybe Red Tail, and I’m not sure on the little guy - looks like the same bird. Cowbird and Catbird got away before I could snap them.

Tizeye Posted July 26, 2022 Share #19 Posted July 26, 2022 INCOMING! Spooked by the workers in the cart approaching, so those huge sandhill cranes fly right at me! When realized they were coming, all I could do was plant the monopod and start shooting! Why duck...anything for the photo! The workers had a good laugh as they passed, as they saw everything.
