Road Runner Posted February 27, 2015 Share #3 Posted February 27, 2015 Sorry to hear, KT. Back pain is the worst. Get as much pain killer as you need to be comfortable, if you can tolerate it.

Randomguy Posted February 27, 2015 Share #9 Posted February 27, 2015 I find that pain meds work better when paired with beer. I imagine one scotch drink would work for you without too much risk, have you tried that yet?

kingtermite Posted February 27, 2015 Author Share #15 Posted February 27, 2015 I find that pain meds work better when paired with beer. I imagine one scotch drink would work for you without too much risk, have you tried that yet? Early on, a month before surgery, I was having trouble getting one of my doctors to prescribe pain meds. I had some boozy pain meds a few nights back then.
