I would wonder if their prioritization system took her nursing & training into the equation? Seems that might be her point? If she is "clear" she can head back to the front lines. If she is not, she stays in quarantine. It definitely would make sense to put an "infantryman" back into battle ahead of a bureaucrat back into their office seat. Dottleshead ★ Posted March 25, 2020 Share #16 Posted March 25, 2020 Basically the same stuff most of us are doing with a focus on hospitals.
Prophet Zacharia Posted March 25, 2020 Share #17 Posted March 25, 2020 “To be a week into these restrictions and already be talking about abandoning them is irresponsible and dangerous,” said Tom Inglesby, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. Removing restrictions now would allow the virus, he said, to “spread widely, rapidly, terribly, and could kill potentially millions in the year ahead with huge social and economic impact.”
Airehead Posted March 25, 2020 Share #18 Posted March 25, 2020 Now would be a time for all state governors to ban together and do the right thing. Keep the states all locked down regardless of what happens federally. 1

Keep the states all locked down regardless of what happens federally. Only 26 states are locked down. Some legislatures vs governors are getting political about it - not the place to go into that here. I feel good that Virginia, south of me in Maryland has also locked down, but almost all the states in the southeast below Virginia are not locked down in spite of most of them having more confirmed cases than Virginia, D.C., or Maryland.
