Saw this shirt about a week ago, Gina liked it and wanted to buy it. I said nah, not on sale and $45 is steep for a shirt. Most Macy's stuff goes on sale sooner or later. Strolled the mall yesterday and shirt still not on sale. Went in today, Gina said hey look! On sale, $10 and some change. Had a lot of them in the rack. Maybe we are the only ones who liked the pattern!5 points

Yep. The day you left, the LF was doomed for sure. Almost as bad as when you moved from Florida to Buffalo.4 points

I must admit I was torn. Right in two. I'm a very loyal person, but enough is enough. Hollywood could make a fascinating movie about the angst I had over making the switch. It could be called BuffJim's angst, maybe Leonardo Di Caprio could play me.4 points

I heavily filter what I post here about myself and even more so about family. When Maxx posted this I let my reserve down a bit.4 points

With respect RR, I have a different view. If the people who were permanently banned are or were so greatly concerned about having to defend themselves, then they should have considered that before they behaved in a way that got them banned in the first place. And if any present Forumite should feel that a permanently banned person received an unjust banning, or should feel a permanently banned person is being unfairly discussed, then I would expect (and respect) that Forumite who would rise to the defense of the permanently banned member.4 points

There is just basically no content. It died a really slow death. Sad because it used to be such a hopping place.3 points

Hey Beanz I notice you are at the mall a fair amount during the week. Could you pick me up a Cinnabon while you're there?3 points

I might go make sausage and eggs for breakfast. I haven't eaten an egg in a long time, probably at least a year. I bought a dozen the other day on a whim. Now I have to eat them, I guess. I will return and report how they tasted, provided all the fat and cholesterol in the eggs, butter and sausage doesn't cause me to have a massive heart attack.3 points

It's hard reasoning with Liberals. Yup, I'm picking up with Nate left off. They mean well but they are mentally unstable. It's true. Kim3 points

That was filmed at Nateland! That is the Rabid Raccoon Rapids Ride! I was never sure if the raccoons were rabid or just dosed up with some of the Nate's meth laced moonshine.2 points

The last couple weeks I have been running out of data. When I had the Gen 3 satellite internet I was always running out but with the launch of the Gen 4 I have never run out. They didn't offer any better package than what I bought when they installed the Gen 4. I contacted them last night to see what they could do and next month they are introducing Gen 5. I signed up for it but in the meantime I upgraded my current plan (not available at the time I signed up) for an extra $50 a month I get double the speed and over three times the data. I still say satellite internet is the crappiest, most expensive broadband on the market. I celebrated my faster speed and data but watching a online drum lesson for the past hour +.2 points

330.45 is not 350. I'd call and threaten them with legal action if they didn't drop the price another $75. False advertising. Sic you HorneyAunt minion on them.2 points

I can kind of understand it if I think about it a different way, but you have to get real twisted in this scenario, so stay with me here... Imagine that those who stayed felt like the LF was a family member, and they knew it early on when it was still cute and big-eyed and could barely walk, and it grew and flowered with their effort. Then it became a teenager, and like all teenagers, it had growing pains. A few mishaps here and there, a couple of "I'll try harder"s and all is forgiven, right? It had lovely parents and came from a good home, you see. But it didn't get better, it got worse. Animals around the neighborhood go missing after playing with the LF, the neighborhood kids don't want anything to do with it, but it is family, and you will stick with it while you put it through therapy. Later there is bullying and those missing animals turn up skinned and sodomized, then a few B & E's, then aggravated assault arrests, and you know there is no way you can reach this forum, it is too late. But like a deer in the headlights, you stay and watch the drowning rats scramble for anything to float on, while the forum punches out your grandmother and you know you should tell it to never come back because you know the next time, grandma isn't going to get off with a just a concussion and a broken pelvis. Anyway, that is one scenario where I see people being able to stay, an aversion to the reality of the situation, one where the forum is coming for them next.2 points

Ah, Rodale ruined the LF, I pointed that out to them at each software change. The forum moved over here, except for those who wanted to be mad at someone. Those that stayed had every option to come over in the first wave, were implored to come over, and were made to know and continue to be made to know that they are welcome here should they want to come here by pretty much everyone. You can lead a horse to dehydrated water, but you can't make them unpowder it.2 points

That guy looks rabid. Never mess with a crazed raccoon. Never mess with a raccoon wandering around during daylight hours - certainly not one that chases you down in your boat (or paddle board)2 points

Cover and cook for 30 minutes, adding water as needed, then remove jalapeños. I came over here, cause if someone was nice enough to start this portal, I figured I would at least give it a try. I enjoyed the democratic way changes were implemented and felt that there was less bullying over here. I stopped back a few times afterwards to say hello over there, and it was like I had the scarlet letter on my forehead. Barely anyone would speak to me. I don't have time for double duty. I gave up posting over there. Hackier is still my FB buddy. He hasn't dropped me there. He has some funny picture posts with his lady.2 points

Can we talk about that during my annual review? If you can't offer money, how about some others perks, maybe some time with @AirwicksHornyAunt?2 points

Invariably, in a thread about a banned person, someone will bring up that departed member's shortcomings. We wouldn't talk about them like that if they were here. We shouldn't talk about them behind their backs, so to speak. Especially since they have no ability to counter anything that is being said about them.2 points
