Airehead Posted March 6, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 6, 2022 I have three center, boneless pork chops in the freezer. No idea why three. They are really thick. What should I do with them?

maddmaxx ★ Posted March 6, 2022 Share #8 Posted March 6, 2022 I had too much applesauce as a child. I don't understand the need to spoil good pork with applesauce.
ChrisL Posted March 6, 2022 Share #9 Posted March 6, 2022 I sear them in a cast iron pan & finish in the oven. I just use S&P and a bit of nutmeg for seasoning. The key is not to overcook them. Pork chops are probably my favorite cut of meat and I like them simply cooked. I sometimes slice some apples and cook them in butter with a little brown sugar & salt until soft & serve with the chops. 2

az_cyclist Posted March 6, 2022 Share #13 Posted March 6, 2022 I would grill them on my Big Green Egg..... but 65mph gusts might make that problematic

I put up many pints of apple butter in the fall of 2020. Will use one for this.
