petitepedal ★ Posted January 25, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2018 Since I was home......I waited... I heated up (or cooked ) a morningstar chik patty (yes one of my occasional processed foods)...I topped it with a fried egg and a sprinkle of cheese.... It was okay....Lots of protein this morning!! ChrisL Posted January 25, 2018 Share #8 Posted January 25, 2018 Typical morning routine for me... If my fasting glucose is over 120 I skip breakfast. I'm not usually hungry in the morning anyway. Under 120 I eat a Kellogg protein bar to prevent a crash later. 125 so skipped the bar. I have left over tofu and veggies for lunch that I'll eat around 11 am when I do get hungry. MickinMD ★ Posted January 25, 2018 Share #14 Posted January 25, 2018 I can't wait until I feel like cooking or nuking a good, healthy cereal for myself - my shoulder's about good enough now but bronchitis has made me lazy. I'm not going from all-good to all-bad though. This morning I nuked a frozen, 7 oz, 390 Cal, breakfast bowl of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage and cheese to which I added 1/4 cup (17 cal) of salsa. For lunch I'm going to do breakfast again with a 6 oz. La Yogurt Probiotics Peach Yogurt and one almost 6 oz. Red Baron Breakfast Scramble: scrambled eggs and sausage with a little gravy, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, which are 2 for $3.38 at Walmart and I highly recommend:
Kzoo Posted January 25, 2018 Share #15 Posted January 25, 2018 6 ounces of breakfast anything would make me angry. If you're going to eat breakfast, eat breakfast.
