Popular Post goldendesign Posted November 30, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 30, 2020 Put in 21.67, slightly windy and then at the 10 mile mark it became slightly rainy. By the time I hit the gate to my community (2.5 miles from home) I was blinded by a lightning strike on the pond directly across from me. There opened up a flood. I was torrentially rained upon for the last little leg. Pulled into the drive and my phone beeped a seek shelter, tornado alert! Exciting last ride of the month, even got 4 PRs. November by the numbers: 257 miles with 11 rides Another 28 miles in hikes and walks. December I am aiming for 600km (350miles) and 20 rides. 6
Popular Post JerrySTL ★ Posted November 30, 2020 Popular Post Share #2 Posted November 30, 2020 180 miles on the bike most with WoJSTL on the tandem. 30 miles walking with WoJSTL. Could have done more; however, I was out of town for about a week getting my mother's house ready to sell.

Zephyr Posted November 30, 2020 Share #4 Posted November 30, 2020 200 miles for me this month, which is okay considering I was away for a week with work. Some of that was on the smart trainer

Hoping December cooperates and I can eke out a few hundred more, but that always becomes iffy as family stuff starts eating up free time.

I have 1,424ft of climbing I love climbing, but we're really not in a very sustained hilly area. What is interesting is that as I have ramped up the gravel riding, the elevation stats have gone up close to 50% over the regular (road) riding months. It definitely feels like, on the country and gravel roads, that you are either going up or going down - rarely just flat. Definitely can see the difference in profiles:
Bikeguy Posted November 30, 2020 Share #12 Posted November 30, 2020 2.2 miles walking the dogs. 73.2 miles waling in November, and that was with being a slacker for 7 days in the month. I got my Garmin watch in mid August. We have been walking the dogs all year.

Ralphie ★ Posted December 1, 2020 Share #18 Posted December 1, 2020 You’re guys are all data hounds! I guess I did maybe 50-100 bike miles and maybe 30 dog walking miles. And a few lawn mowing miles.

There are a lot more than that in 50-100 miles worth! If there were a short distance forum I would be a charter member.
