We were invited to the wedding rehearsal dinner tonight. It’s at an Irish pub with about 25 people. I’m on my second Guinness. Ordering fish (haddock) and chips for supper. Tomorrow at 9:00 is brunch with JtM and Silent Doug. Son of Parsnip is going golfing afterwards with Doug and members of the wedding party. Chill all day with the puppies then dinner with LAJ. Saturday chill until 3:00 then drive up to the wedding venue that starts at 4:00. Drive back to Virginia on Sunday.

At 4:00 today, I received an email with paperwork and a lease for #2. I filled it all out and dropped it off at the housing office 30 minutes before closing. I have a signed lease. I will pay them tomorrow and should get keys.

This was a golf day in Vegas but the hand kept me from all shots but putting. He gave me regulation greens and i had to putt from the fringe. At a buck a hole I only lost 9 bucks for the match. Now for a Garth Brooks concert and a late flight.

Friday night...motorcycle shop party Saturday...I'm judging a motorcycle show Sunday....the American Legion post 149 fund raising. It the only day the across the street is open. Also on Sunday we will be loading up the motorhome because Monday morning we are leaving on a trip.

I am going to drive twenty minutes to practice giving Otto a syringe of sedating medication. We are practicing with chicken broth. I need to be able to get a very small amount of the real medicine between his check and gum on Tuesday. He tolerates it at home. Need to try the vet’s office. More about this later when I have time to explain.

Was mostly yanking on my arm...ok slow manipulation either way..distraction topic was donuts..there is a place called donut hut not far from my place..never been there but heard recently that they have good donuts..my PT detoured there to bring donuts to the secretaries this week...I may have to bring some to work one day. I got tears in my eyes..and not due to donut talk

The kids are having a garage/yard sale. I’m hoping to have nothing to do with it.

Very little planned. A quiet weekend in the midst of several full ones. Taking a half day tomorrow. There’s an early morning bird watch Saturday I might go to. It would involve leaving around 6:45. Church on Sunday.

I think they were probably surprised that the best interior d-lineman was available. Their biggest need (they got others) well into their lap. It's unclear how Bryon Murphy will fit in with Leonard Williams but our defense has been gauged up the middle for way to long and it seems like a nice problem to have. Bills loading up it appears. There's a lot of gold to be had tomorrow.

Be careful what you wish for. Last week I wished Jax had someone to play with. Judie said one dog is enough. Then yesterday Oog showed up. We brought up Jax’s first crate and set it next to Jax’s new crate for Ogg to sleep in. This morning Judie and I were having some alone time when one of the doggos woke up and started to fuss. Then the other one started to bark. We hadn’t got up yet when we heard a third one join in from the back deck. I got dressed and tried to let Jax and Ogg out. Jax ran out and Blackie ran in, then Ogg ran out and Jax ran back in. This went on for quite awhile before I managed to get all three out and close the door. The three dogs ran and played like they had been raised together. I forgot to grab my phone so no photos yet. No we are not adopting Blackie. When I was talking to the neighbors yesterday one said he had a black and a brown pup. I showed him Ogg’s picture and he said that was not one of his.

I once had a semi trailer packed full of helium balloons and it did not lighten the trailer one bit. Tue story.

I drove the 2005 Prius 260K miles. I'll guess it's dead now. I know I don't get any notices for that car. I'll guess the 2001 Civic is dead now too. I only drive that car 128K. It was uncomfortable and the locking torque converter died at 125K.

I dislike flying when there are a lot of deadlines involved - where I'm worried about getting home in time because i need to work tomorrow or I'm going to an event. I do like the idea of a flight being the start of an adventure, though.
