groupw Posted June 19, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2018 6 miles on the commute. 95 here, too. Wind shifted for an incoming front so I had headwind both ways.

Road Runner Posted June 19, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 19, 2018 92 F and humid as hell when I left. 21.7 miles @ 16.5 avg on my usual city streets ride. My best average speed so far this year. In traffic. I'm 70 years old, I have a torn rotator cuff, and my back is a piece of shit!

smudge ★ Posted June 19, 2018 Share #6 Posted June 19, 2018 About 6 1/2 on the Hei Hei. The new tires are a ton better for sand.

Razors Edge ★ Posted June 19, 2018 Share #10 Posted June 19, 2018 30 @ 18.4 in muggy conditions. The nice part about riding a bit later in the day is that, although it is quite hot and humid still, the DIRECT sun is weaker and as long as I keep moving, I stay relatively cool from the breeze. Stop for a light and instant drippage Tom
JerrySTL ★ Posted June 19, 2018 Share #11 Posted June 19, 2018 65 hot, humid, headwind miles on the Katy Trail. Then slept in a hot tent.
