TrentonMakes Posted May 23, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 23, 2017 I doubt there's anyone out there who'd say he was the best Bond, and some might say he was the worst, but for the most part the Bond movies he made are still enjoyable. RIP. (first Bond movie I saw was The Living Daylights with Timothy Daltonm, summer '87... I seem to like that movie more than most)

Chris... Posted May 23, 2017 Share #7 Posted May 23, 2017 Roger Moore was the Bond actor that I grew up watching. Live and let die, Diamonds are forever my dad took us kids to the movies to see those.

ChrisL Posted May 23, 2017 Share #13 Posted May 23, 2017 I wasn't old enough for Sean Connery so like many Roger Moore was the James Bond I grew up with. I really lost interest in the series in the late 80s so really only know him. Bummer, RIP.
LoneWolf Posted May 23, 2017 Share #14 Posted May 23, 2017 I still count The Spy Who Loved Me as one of the better Bond films. Even if everyone places Connery first, I always loved Moore's suave and deadpan line delivery. And he had a reputation for fun on the set; he apparently played some marvelous pranks on Q. "I am absolutely evil with Desmond Llewelyn who plays Q because I secretly rewrite all of his dialogue before a scene and get the director to give him whole pages of this terrible technical junk which is impossible to learn. And he still falls for it? Yes, it gets him every time." So long Roger --and thanks for "keeping the British end up."
