Popular Post shootingstar Posted January 6, 2019 Popular Post Share #10 Posted January 6, 2019 Ok, since every forum cyclist seems to have a dog or a dog in past life... ?? Here's dearie's daughter's dog. He loves our place because it's carpeted. He doesn't slide all over the place. Every Christmas Eve, his daughter and her dog are always invited for dinner. She adopted this dog from a dog shelter. Charley, the dog is especially avoidant to a lot of ...men. It took him a lot time to warm up to dearie. Daughter believes the dog was abused as a pup. 5

Ruby loves ours! But I can come closer to catching her in the kitchen as she spins her wheels after quickly reversing direction. Yes, besides biking, the forum thrives on pictures and discussions of pets, food, and drink. :) And assorted other niche schtuffs.

Popular Post Tizeye Posted January 6, 2019 Author Popular Post Share #13 Posted January 6, 2019 Romainmontier, CH A small town along the French border within the Jurassic Mountains and on the Tour De France route every second or third year with the noted cobblestones inside the original walled city, exiting at Passage de la Tour de la Torture. Loved the tea house where was basically honor system, serve self and when finished call waiter over who determines the bill by counting the plates and cups. Daughter was actually in very early pre-labor, regular labor later that evening and her size caught the attention of all the ladies of the town. Wish I had used a faster shutter speed to eliminate the blur...but it does show the passage. That is the trouble with "A" setting on camera as you just don't think. 5

Best wishes she has a heathy baby. That was actually a 2016 photo. They are doing great, visited over holidays (photos posted) and returned to Switzerland Jan 1. Another from 2016...the next couple of days with grandma and also my daughter. Funny part was, a day or so later the hospital photographer came in with an entry level Canon and basic lens. She became intimidated when she saw me with a huge 70-200 mounted on my Sony. 3

I parked in a pullout and they don't plow those because there is a bench behind my bike. The bike path was reasonably clear, just 2-3" of snow on it. It looks more badass if you didn't know the bridge was plowed. You can't see the mountains in the background. Hiding today. It was windy, but not too cold. I damn near caught the powder flu and skied. They had 17". A friend stopped by work and told me it was awesome skiing today and I missed it. I could use a big powder day. Tizeye Posted January 8, 2019 Author Share #22 Posted January 8, 2019 Always driven past this airfield, but decided to pull over yesterday. (NOTE: it is a small municipal airport with the single combined runway/taxiway and no tower - Not a commercial static display of vintage aircraft.) From the bushes in the foreground, there is a railroad track, small ditch with beggar weed brush I didn't venture into, then the shoulder of US441 where I was standing.
