We are at the end of our stay in Siena Italy. So we washed out some things in the sink and hung them out to dry. *picture for promotional purposes only. That's my underwear on the left. And my new cycling jersey too. We spent a few hours wine tasting and learning about organic wine. Plus a delicious lunch. Met with a young couple from TCU. He's studying in Rome. She is visiting on Spring break. Had a great meal at a family run place. Sarah got a Florentine steak. A massive T bone. After she asked for it they brought it over for approval. We could see all the preparations from our table. Proprietor might have been famous because a table of locals got a selfie. Steak, pasta, bread & olive oil. Plus a digestive....I had grappa. Sarah had a lemon cello. Really really fun Then we walked a few laps around the square. Bus back to Rome before we fly back.

Done at 6:30. Wife and kiddos came to visit so that was very nice.

From Einstein Last week the TV in our family which is about 4 years old no longer lit up. I was able to determine that it was still booting, but the backlight was not coming on. After doing some searching came to the conclusion that the likely culprit was the power supply for the backlight. Found the parts ordered them and they arrived on Friday. Installed them, and they TV was no longer even booting. After about an hour chatting with customer service, they determined they had shipped the wrong parts (I had ordered the correct ones). The PN’s were close, looked identical to the originals, but didn’t work in this TV. They sent the correct parts which arrived today (Monday), and the TV is once again fully functional

Last weekend my son and I took a last minute snowmobile trip to Rhinelander Wisconsin. They still have tons of snow and they got almost a foot of it while we were there. Usually the season and trails in this area are closed by now. My son and I were the first ones to make tracks on most trails and we had the whole resort to ourselves.

We just take our appliances out into the woods, dump them in a pristine place, and then shoot a few rounds into them for good measure.

It all stems from not being able to pee. Dehydration causes a lot of accidents because it dramatically reduces ability to handle G-loads and causes cognitive issues required for the job. Most people go without liquids for hours before a flight and extended flights can run up to 8 hours. Many have died trying to use a bottle of gel pack to relieve themselves. Flight suits are starting to be issued that have automated collection systems to relieve both he and she pilots.

Oops indeed. That's going to be costly for the operator. It's easy enough to forget the PTO is engaged and that thing can go up on it's own in a flash. Some operators install a beeper in the cab that sounds when the PTO is engaged for exactly this reason.

She didn't break into my stash, don't worry. Today Ylva had an xray at the vets. They had to put her under to do the xray since she is bat shit crazy. The cats are kinda freaked out now as Ylva isn't acting like her normal insane self. Couch

I am narrowly escaping a catheter.

I did not eat a thing Sunday and most of Monday. On a hospital food diet now. I think that does as much as ozempic to kill your appetite.

Made it home about 10pm. Just about 1/2 inch of wet snow. Storm is east of us. Great trip. Gonna be tired tomorrow, but I can’t just hop into bed after getting home late at night.

This is so unfortunate. After saving all that money not buying a new TV, you're going to have spend a fortune to move those walls to make this right.
