Dottleshead ★ Posted June 18, 2020 Share #154 Posted June 18, 2020 I mowed 6-8 inch backyard with my lawn mower. That counts for at least 10 miles of riding and add another mile of angst for doing @Kzoo's job.
Dirtyhip Posted June 18, 2020 Share #155 Posted June 18, 2020 Another 9 miles with 800+ feet of climbing on Brutus with the local kiddoes. Huge day. I am exhausted and my foot hurts, I am gonna have some ice cream and go to bed. 1

Dirtyhip Posted June 19, 2020 Share #160 Posted June 19, 2020 My foot is on ice and I am resting today. Tomorrow, I may ride. So, I will not finish this challenge. of doing something each day. No more yoga on the lawn either. It is an injury waiting to happen over there. At least I can walk without a significant limp today

2Far ★ Posted June 20, 2020 Share #162 Posted June 20, 2020 Gym. 30 minutes dreadmill; full set of weights; stretched. Weight’s the same as last week. Disappointed with that, I averaged almost 10k steps a day, ate decently. 😔
Zephyr Posted June 20, 2020 Share #163 Posted June 20, 2020 I am still in..., been riding through the week, hiking and or walking with WofZ on the weekend days. I actually started when I got back to going to work on June 1.

Forum Administrator Posted June 26, 2020 Share #170 Posted June 26, 2020 Still in. Almost missed it yesterday when I took the dog to the dog park. It was a lot of me standing around. I ended up doing a two mile loop around the park just to stay in.
ChrisL Posted June 26, 2020 Share #171 Posted June 26, 2020 I started June 1st with a goal to ride every day in June. So far the streak is in tact but a few too many bail out rides than I expected.
Zephyr Posted June 26, 2020 Share #172 Posted June 26, 2020 I started on June 1, the day I went back to work at the office. Biked all work days and have ben riding/hiking/walking/ swimming on off days. This was a good idea @Square Wheels.

You've still done more than people who chose to sit on the couch. I get that not everyone is capable of doing something, but I chose to do nothing most of my life. 8 hours ago, Zephyr said: This was a good idea @Square Wheels. It's helped me. Many days I did not want to get up at 4:30 to run before work, or I slept in telling myself I'd run when I got home, but then it was 90+ degrees and humid. I make a lot of excuses. Heading out for day 21 in a few minutes.

jsharr ★ Posted June 29, 2020 Share #178 Posted June 29, 2020 Got a Fitbit Charge 3 for Fathers Day from my boys. Been walking daily at lunch. Get close to 10k steps every day. Going to make it 10k per day and add in some evil faster paced walking. I may even jog a bit.
ChrisL Posted June 29, 2020 Share #179 Posted June 29, 2020 I’m 2 days/rides from completing my goal of riding every day in June. I may stretch it into July but I won’t bust my ass to get a ride in if I’m not feeling well like I did a couple of times last week.
Forum Administrator Posted July 1, 2020 Share #180 Posted July 1, 2020 Here’s my June stuff. For those not familiar with the Apple Watch, the red circle is active calories. My goal each day during this challenge is 1050 calories. The green circle is exercise time. My goal for this has been 45 minutes. The blue one is hours where I stand up. I think my goal is 14 hours. That’s a stupid stat for me, so I don’t pay attention to it.
MickinMD ★ Posted July 1, 2020 Share #181 Posted July 1, 2020 I blew it. I wasn't feeling well yesterday - slight sore throat, tired feeling, sweating a lot for a 77° air-conditioned apartment. So I didn't get around to my resistance band workout. Feeling pretty good but still tired today. Hope it was just a 24-hour virus I picked up shopping the last two days when I stocked up because my quarterly 5% cash-back Chase Freedom Visa went back to 1% on groceries on July 1. Zephyr Posted July 1, 2020 Share #182 Posted July 1, 2020 Mine started on June 1, so I am technically done, biked or hiked every day. I did June first because it was when I started back to work and back on the bike commuting. Jumped on the scales today, and by being back on the bike, I dropped 9 pounds in June.
Square Wheels Posted July 2, 2020 Author Share #183 Posted July 2, 2020 I didn't start until early June, so I have a few more to go. I don't think I'll stop. Will likely keep the same heart rate plan, which equals a slow run, but will go a tiny bit further.

Square Wheels Posted July 4, 2020 Author Share #186 Posted July 4, 2020 Ran 2, day 29 for me. I'll start another 30 day challenge for myself once I'm done with this one. Same deal, keep the heartrate under 150, just go a little longer.

Longjohn ★ Posted August 3, 2020 Share #188 Posted August 3, 2020 I wimped out on the first one. I gave it a decent effort but too much going on in my life and running around a couple acres gets boring. The blockages in my heart probably didn’t help.
