sheep_herder ★ Posted January 13, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2021 Blowing pretty steady in the mid 40s and gusting between 56 and 66mph, except at 2:45pm it gusted to 76mph and blew our large rain collection tank over the fence and into the irrigation ditch. Hard to walk at times when feeding. Dogs were ready to get back in their crates.
Longjohn ★ Posted January 13, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2021 You don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. The answer my friend, is blowin in the wind.
shootingstar Posted January 14, 2021 Share #3 Posted January 14, 2021 I decided not go out to get some yogurt...on foot. I know I've been nearly blown over on bike. A transport truck in Alberta got blown over onto its side on highway yesterday.

Digital_photog ★ Posted January 14, 2021 Share #12 Posted January 14, 2021 Our friends traveling to the sled dog race stopped in Billings because of the wind. They said it reached 70 mph and blew some semis over on I90. They said after caring for the dogs the wind went down so they continued on. Were stopped for several hours. jsharr ★ Posted January 14, 2021 Share #15 Posted January 14, 2021 They were talking about 70 mile an hour winds in Montana on the news just now. We are supposed to get that tomorrow here and our guests are supposed to be in the 50s Stay safe
shootingstar Posted January 14, 2021 Share #16 Posted January 14, 2021 Apparently we had 145 km/hr. winds yesterday afternoon in city. I was at home working all day and didn't go food shopping afterwards.
