Square Wheels Posted September 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2014 For me it's really easy. They offer them in the hall on the way to my office. I roll up my sleeve, get stuck, get a band-aid and leave. Whole thing takes about 1 minute. They will start offering them next week or the week after. I don't know, last couple I got, I felt like I had the flu for a week. I want to prevent the flu, not get it, I think I will wait for an anti-flu shot this year. Olas Nah Posted September 22, 2014 Share #15 Posted September 22, 2014 Got one....promptly got the flu a month or two later, was out of work for several days. The very reason I got the shot last year was to avoid that...still happened. I may give it another go, but if it happens like that again, I may skip it. Longjohn ★ Posted September 23, 2014 Share #19 Posted September 23, 2014 My oncologist wants me to get one every year. They said the first week of October would be a good time. They said if you get them too early in the season they wear off and you could get the flu in late winter/early spring.
